Dawald means “the forest,” and when I designed my logo, I kept this in mind. I used the font “New York” because my Dad’s side of the family has been in this country since the Dutch Colonies in New York. The stars represent my American patriotism. My attention to detail makes me well suited for the graphic design industry, but I can always see the forest for the trees.

I received an Associate Arts degree from Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut California and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in graphic design from Chapman University. I am proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Flash.

For fun, I like to hangout with my friends, go to movies, hangout at the beach, visit Disneyland, play videogames and watch TV. I also enjoy listening to eclectic music and studying American history, particularly WWII.

I am German, Dutch, Danish, Irish and French in nationality. I grew up in the Christian church and God is foremost in my life. I have a 23-year-old younger sister who has her BS from USC and was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. My father is a project manager for Johnson Controls, sheet-metal division. My mother is a site administrator for HealthCare Partners Medical Group in Glendora.
